About me

I started on the casting instructor journey solely to improve my own casting.  But being a Virgoan perfectionist I couldn’t resist taking it right to the highest level.  I am the first lady to qualify as an APGAI two handed instructor with GAIA and the first lady in Europe to qualify as an International Federation of Fly Fishers (USA) Two Handed Certified Instructor.   I am interested in competition casting and have won the Scottish Open Ladies Speycasting Championship, the CLA Ladies UK Salmon Distance Championship and the John Enright International Ladies Salmon Distance Championship.

I am a member of the Game Angling Instructors Association, Fly fishers International, Salmon and Trout Association.  I am fully insured, I hold a current First Aid Certificate and Child Protection Certificate
